Mom's Senior Citizenship @ Mesa

We had dinner at Mesa, Greenbelt 5 to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. I've failed to call them before we left home but good thing there are available tables for a group of 11.

Brief Background :

Mesa is a modern Filipino restaurant which is co-owned by Sen. Kiko Pangilinan. It's the pinasusyal version of La Mesa Grill (which has branches at Mall of Asia and Trinoma).

We availed of the food package good for 10 persons which includes the ff:

For starters we had Tinapa Rolls Wrapped in Lettuce

and Hito Flakes on Spoon

after a few minutes, the waiters were starting to fill our table with the main courses

Laing Rice

Patotim - Pato or Duck cooked Patatim style

 

Pinakbet with Bangus Belly

Sinigang na Baboy in Guava and Pineapple

Crab and Seafood Mix in Chili Sauce

Prawns sauteed in salted egg

1/4 Crispchon - served two ways

Slices of the crispchon wrapped in pandan crepes served with 4 sauces

Steamed Apahap in Dayap and Chili

We also ordered additional food on top of the package.

Inihaw Sampler - Grilled chicken leg quarter, squid, pork belly, bangus belly, mussels, shrimp and pork BBQ
