The Coffee Farmhouse

Located a few minutes away from Tagaytay City proper is a family owned coffee farm turned bed and breakfast. It is a perfect venue for company plannings, team buildings, seminars or just a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Metro.

Coffee Farmhouse

I was lucky enough to have visited the place for four times already because of work. My bosses were the ones who discovered it when they were scouting for a place for our annual company planning back in 2009.

Where did it get its name? Well, for the obvious reason that it is a coffee farm.

Coffee Farmhouse

I forgot most of the details on why and how this place was converted into a bed and breakfast so it's better to ask the owners. They are more than happy to share their story.

Once you arrive, you will be welcomed at the parking lot by the owners and their staff. They will also bring your things to your room. At times, especially when we arrive late at night, Mr. Bert, the owner, does all these things. (they do not have stay-in staff)

They have a total of 8 fan-cooled rooms in varying sizes complete with T&B. I was able to stay in one of the rooms at the main house and in the dorm type room.

The owners are very hands-on with their guests. They make you feel like staying in a relative's place.

  1. This looks like a very nice place for teambuilding or just a simple family outing. I like the al fresco dining and bonfire. :)
