Tokyo Yakiniku

In search for a restaurant that offers cheap but delish Japanese barbecue that's open until after midnight? There's one along Makati Avenue which just recently opened last weekend.

We were looking for a place to dine after our massage at Toccare Spa last Tuesday. It was around 1am so almost all restaurants on A.Venue Mall were already closed.  We noticed some girls across the street who were waving out flyers so we checked out what they were offering.

They were offering Japanese barbecue. They were on soft opening so everything is at 50% off (except drinks) but only until April 10. Sounded like a great deal so we decided to try it.
Irrashaimase! Dell and I were greeted by about a dozen staff. It was an ordinary Japanese grill place. Nothing sosy about it. Aside from us there were only 2 customers inside.

They have a limited menu, mostly comprised of meats and side dishes.

Their prices are at par with Ye Dang, a Korean BBQ restaurant along Meralco Avenue. With a glass of coke and a bowl of rice, our total bill was around Php 1100 less 50%. Amazing!
