Haneul's Spa

I've been busy within the last two months (yes, with work during weekdays and with friends during weekends) that I barely have the chance to visit the salon. Add to that that I do not have plans of having a haircut anytime soon and I just recently colored my hair at home. But I wanted to have a foot spa!!!

On my way home from work, I always pass by this newly opened Korean-named spa along Acacia Lane - Shaw Blvd. It's open until late night which meant I can go there after work. Good thing my HS friend J who lives in the area, have already gone there and gave good reviews. So it's a double go for me!

Finally! After a few attempts, I was able to visit the spa last Saturday with dear BF and J.

We were greeted by a male receptionist at the entrance and were handed out leaflets of the services they currently offer.

services

Their services include massage, facial, spa and waxing. They also offer combination packages with buffet.

We waited for about 15 minutes and it's finally our turn. We were then led to the foot spa area which is on the same floor. The staff are neatly dressed in black and beige uniforms. I just found it a bit weird that most of the staff are male. I only saw two female staff, one is on the front desk. I'm not sure though if it only happens in that shift (they're open from 1pm to 4am) or the other female staff are on the massage and facial area during the time of our visit.

spa

Unlike other salons/spas i've been to, they only use a simple basin with warm water and some foot spa chenes.

soak

I opted to have a mani-pedi on top of the foot spa service while the two decided to just have a foot spa. Once my feet was soaked in the basin, ate started to do my nails. Point and shoot cams come in handy when you can only shoot with one hand. Hah!

manicure

my least favorite part. removing my cuticles. ughhh.

nail polish
a basket of nail paints

I'm not a fan of bold colors so I always opt for the nude ones. And for the nth time, I chose "Touch of Beige".

polish

Scrub time!

Unfortunately, they didn't allow us to get inside the buffet area so I wasn't able to take photos of the food.

  1. OMG! Spa's are so cheap in the Philippines! If I do happen to go back and visit, I'll make it a point to go to a spa.
In Singapore, basic packages are min. around 11,000 PHP, or SGD350.

  4. Hi... Good thing you experienced a good one from them... That male receptionist is very arrogant in reality. I had my underarm waxed in their spa. And unfortunately, they had it burnt. I called them to inform bout it. At sobrang bastos niya. Sabi niya pa sakin, they reported it to the owner already. When i visited again, para i treat nila yung damage. Imbes na gawin yung napag usapan, which is diamond peel, winax ako ulit, at nilagyan lang ng whitening. Binigyan nila ko ng "erase" para bumalik sa dati yung underarms ko. Unfortunately, after one week, lumalala pa yung situation ko. Hindi pala advised i apply yung erase sa underarms... Tuloy2 labg treatment sakin, until one day, nagvisit ako dun to have my treatment, kaso wala yung gagawa, busy yata.. Pinagsabihan ako nung male receptionist na sa susunod daw, dapat tumawag ako. Nairita ko kasi, i dobt think may difference yung pagvisit ko sa mga walk in na customers. Nagkasagutan kami, and he knows na pede ko sila demanda because of thr damage.

  7. Body massage services are ok. Mani and Pedi are ok regardless of whether it's done by the girls or the bakla. The girl in this photo doing the pedi is actually good, takes time in doing the works also the matabang attendant. For footspa, the males who attended to me are not good at all. Especially when they are also the ones who do your facials and waxing. So choose the girls all the time. Actually good service for a very affordable price.

  8. Rosalyn,

i agree with you. these two girls are both good. but there's always a rotten tomato in every group. on my recent visit I had a slightly bad experience with one of their girl attendants. she's a bit arrogant & was not gentle when doing the pedi. badtrip. i didn't leave her a tip. hmp. but of course i'll still go there but will try to avoid that girl

  9. The facility wasn't as good as it was when it first opened. Though I only go back there because one of the therapist is really good.
