Bohol-Cebu Chronicles: Wellcome Hotel, Cebu
A newly opened hotel near Ayala Mall, Cebu, Wellcome Hotel is a good option for both business and budget travelers. We stayed here for one night during our side trip to Cebu.
I was also considering Tune Hotel then but for a slightly higher price but way bigger room and better facilities, I opted to book us rooms at Wellcome Hotel and I'm glad I did. The location of the hotel is not on the main street though but I didn't mind because we have a service.
We booked 2 deluxe rooms at P2400. Each room can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 guests with free breakfast.

There's a Franck Provost salon being constructed in the lobby. I'm not sure if it's already open now.

The room has cable TV, WIFI, coffee and tea making facilities, mini bar, phone, and safety deposit box.

They have a mini pool and some gym facilities located on the 3rd floor.
Breakfast is served at the hotel's restaurant on the mezzanine floor.
I would like to commend the staff for safe-keeping my bag containing my wallet and some other stuff. I left it at the restaurant after having breakfast. We were in the pool area for almost 20 minutes before I realized that my bag was missing. I went back to the restaurant to look for may bag and was told that it was already in the front desk.

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen their Standard Rooms in person but I'm sure it's smaller because according to their website, only 1 king bed can fit inside. I actually booked for 2 standard rooms since originally we are only 4. When I asked for an extra bed for each room because we have two more companions, they instead upgraded us to deluxe rooms and paid 600 per extra person.
DeleteI must say the hotel impress me well when we went there for a 2 nights stay. They really have a spacious and clean room. =)
