The Ilocandia Tour Begins...
The trip took less than an hour and we soon landed at the Laoag International Airport. Thank you PAL for the safe trip. (and for the free food. Haha!) I bade my friend goodbye then headed to the arrival area with the group to claim our baggage.
Laoag International Airport
We met with the tour guide who is already waiting outside the arrivals hall. After making some final arrangements with him, we were driven off to our first destination.
First stop: Cape Bojeador, Burgos, Ilocos Norte
Cape Bojeador is a lighthouse located on top of a hill offering a view of the South China Sea. It was originally called Faro Cabo Cape Bojeador since it was built in 1892 during the Spanish regime. The lighthouse is still functioning to date, serving the ships passing by the northern part of the South China Sea. (Someone did her research)
Next stop: Wind Mills, Bangui, Ilocos Norte
The walls of the light house was made up of bricks

The wind mills are huuuuuge. As innnnn. I’m out of words, really.
On our way to the resort, we stopped by this bridge to check out this huge rock formation with the hole in the middle. We went down and made our way to the slippery rocks to get near it.
there's the hole!
And finally, Hannah’s Beach Resort! It’s one of the resorts situated at the blue lagoon. What a refreshing view...
The resort
We were booked in a Family Suite which can accommodate up to 9 persons. It is a duplex type with 2 queen-sized beds in each room. We fixed our things, rested for a while then went outside to have our lunch.
We preferred to have our lunch at the nipa cottages to get a better view of the beach. Unfortunately, it rained hard but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our sumptuous lunch consisting of the province’s specialty –the bagnet, and other grilled seafood.
We took a swim at the beach when the rain had stopped but after a few moments, rain started to pour again so we decided to go back and just swim at the pool.
It was almost dark when we went back to our rooms to prepare for dinner. We had our dinner at the resort’s cafeteria. The food we ordered tasted good but nothing special. After dinner, we went back to our rooms and called it a night. We have to take a lot of rest for the Vigan trip.
